Our Story

Goodness In A Box was started by Trupti after finding a lack of readily available nourishing and tasty snacks for children. Many children’s snacks on offer at supermarkets do not have anything “bad” in them but they do not have anything good in them either with primary ingredients such as rice and wheat. They are empty calories. So Trupti started on the journey of making her own healthy and wholesome snacks for her family.

Based on feedback from friends, family and their children, Goodness In A Box was launched to offer others delicious and nourishing snacks delivered to their front door every week.

Trupti’s background is in finance – investment banking and more recently in the non-profit / social investment sector. Her experience in the latter drives the values of the company as outlined below.

 

Our Values

Our ingredients are carefully sourced from a range of small UK independent businesses. No additives or preservatives.

Our packaging is 100% sustainable. Mailing boxes are fully recyclable. The food bags, tissue, tape and stickers are biodegradable so please do add these to your compost bins.

We aim for 0% wastage. We only produce what is purchased.

We give back. 10% of net profits will be donated to a charity of our choice.

 

COVID-19

All staff involved in food production have been double vaccinated. Staff are also tested on a weekly basis. We are compliant with all Government regulations for hygiene and safety.
